WHAT DID YOU HEAR ABOUT DRIVERS?
When I was in Lagos, I didn't take public transport that much, it was only on rare occasions and 99% of the times, the drivers were either cruel, harsh, hostile or insulting. They simply weren't nice, Lagos drivers no send you! They're always in para mode.
The first encounter I had with a driver here was when my mum and I boarded a bus from Onitsha to Enugu.
The driver got on everyone's nerve when he delayed leaving the park, in short, all the passengers were fed up and blowing tantrums and complaining about the driver's behaviour and delay.
At last, we left the park and when we got to our destination, it was very late. This man then shocked me, he waited till my mum finished talking to a relative I would be staying with, he then followed us to where we took keke to the place, and then he paid the keke driver!
Ahh, I was wowed, I didn't believe any driver could be that nice oo, he wished us well and said goodbye as we thanked him.
I saw this incident as a rare occurrence and a one time thing.
But I have to retract my judgement.
Nsukka drivers are nice!
At least the ones I have met, some people might disagree.
I've been here 3 weeks and I keep having one beautiful experience after another with these awesome drivers.
I asked one for sachet water yesterday and he gave me one, can you try this with Lagos drivers?😂
I'm still having beautiful experiences with these drivers, I might marry one of them self.😂
Incase, I don't come back to Lagos, just know I have married an Nsukka driving, they are sweeping me off my feet with their niceness!
What's your experience with a driver?
I would love to read them.😌❤️
Good morning, people.🤭❤️
Have a productive day.❤️
